*Payment*
Payment
methods
Payment is accepted by credit and debit cards only. These payments
are processed through Paypal’s secure pages. With the method
we have set up customers will be able to either login to Paypal if
they have an account or choose to make a one off payment where no
Paypal account is necessary – just click on the ‘Don’t
have a paypal account’ option underneath the login section of
the Payment information page.
At this time we
do not accept any other form of payment for purchases throughout web
shop.
Ebay
purchases
If you have purchased an item through our Ebay shop and you are a
U.K. customer you will have the option of paying by cheque or postal
order as well as Paypal. For international customers Paypal is still
the only option. If there is an item, which you have seen in our online
shop, and you can only pay by cheque or postal order please contact
us and we may be able to list it to buy in our Ebay shop where you
will be able to pay via these methods.
International
Customers
At present out payment system is not set up for calculating international
postage costs, if you live outside of the UK and wish to place an
order please email us with the details of your order and we will email
with you an invoice including the shipping cost. You will not be obligated
to buy the items and the items will remain in stock in the shop for
others to buy until we receive payment from you.
Our prices are
listed in Pounds Sterling, if you would like to find out the cost
of the items in your own currency we suggest you use an online currency
converter. We would recommend using The
Universal Currency Converter as it is simple and easy to use.
Please remember that as exchange rates vary this can only be used
as a guide to the price, the actual price you pay may vary slightly.
*Postage*
General
All items are posted out via Royal Mail using either 1st Class service
within the U.K. or Airmail outside the U.K.
Lost
or Damaged Items
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. If you
are in the UK and you haven't received your order and it has been
a week or more after you placed the order please get in touch with
us as soon as possible so we can try to look into the matter. We always
get proof of postage from the post office and will help you to file
a claim with the post office to try and get compensation for items
that have been lost or damaged in the post. Please be very careful
to give us the correct address, if we send the item out to the address
you have given and it is not correct there is very little we can do
other than wait and see if it is returned to us. If an item is returned
to us because you have supplied an incorrect address or because you
have not collected it from the post office depot within the time they
hold it for you and you would like us to post the item out again you
will have to pay us further money for postage to cover out costs.
International
Postage
International customers should be aware that there is no tracking
system available with the normal Airmail service. Services with extra
insurance, or signed for options are available on request but please
note that the tracking service only extends up to the point at which
the item leaves the U.K,after this point the item cannot be tracked
as it will be in the hands of another country’s postal service.
Postage
Costs
Customers should be aware that, due to the different payment systems
on the Whiplash Workshop website and our Ebay shop, postage costs
for the same item may differ between the websites.
*Returns*
Returns will be
dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Requests for a return must be
received from the customer within 14 days of the item being received.
No returns will be accepted without our prior agreement. Please email
us with your details, a description of the item in question and your
reason for requesting a refund/exchange and we will respond as soon
as possible. In the event of a return being accepted, the customer
will either be offered an exchange or refund, depending on the reason
for returning the item. In either case the original item must be returned
in the same condition in which it left us (this includes clothing
tags or original packaging belonging to the item). The customer is
responsible for the cost of repackaging and returning the item to
us by recorded delivery.
*Stock
Availability*
In the rare occasion
that an item should be shown as being in stock when it is actually
out of stock the customer will be contacted by email and made aware
of this. They will then be offered either a full refund or if the
item will be in stock again soon they will be offered the option of
waiting until the new stock arrives in. These kind of issues will
only possibly arise when Whiplash Workshop is on tour at an event
and there may be a delay in updating stock levels.
